A Story on Archangel Raphael

A story by Nicholas M. N. about an experience he had
with Archangel Raphael, Virgin Mary and the saints

This story took place in Germany a while ago whilst I was a student. 

As I come from Greece, at that time the Greek government in association with the two biggest political parties had subsidized a few airline tickets for selected and various age groups for voting purposes so that the political parties wouldn’t miss on the support of their members.

As I was involved with one of the political parties at that time, I got in touch and organized 8 tickets for myself and friends. I have to say that my main concern was actually to use this ticket as an opportunity to see my family and friends since I was challenged with a physically and a trip home would help me to recover and be near people that I love. 

When I went to the office to pick up the tickets, to my surprise, I realized that everyone else had a ticket except for me as mine was missing!! I asked the person in charge what had really happened but the only thing he could say to me was that they eventually couldn’t get 8 tickets and that one of us had to stay back!

I was devastated… I called my friends, felt so disappointed and tried to do everything I could to get on that plane! I really needed to go home for a while!
Unfortunately, I couldn’t succeed in all I ventured as all seats were booked out not only for the next day but for the entire week.

The only thing that was left for me to do was to PRAY! So, before I went to bed I prayed with all my heart and soul to Archangel Raphael, Virgin Mary and all the Saints… I asked them for help and if they could do something to bring me closer to my family as I had to go home and this would make me feel so much better.

Around 4am the phone rang. I normally let it ring but I thought to myself it may be urgent. When I picked up the phone there was a lot of noise in the background and all I could hear was my name and that I need to be at the airport in 5 hours to a flight to Athens!!!!!

I asked him how this could be true as I didn’t have a ticket. They only thing that the man said to me was: “Please, I can’t explain. You are on my list and I had to call you to let you know that you are on the morning flight heading to Athens. When you get to the airport, please proceed to the counter, give your name and they will give you your ticket” and he hang up.

I couldn’t believe my ears and up until today I don’t know how this came about. No one told me, no one gave me an explanation. The only thing I know for sure is that the saints together with Archangel Raphael and Virgin Mary granted my wish and I had a fabulous time in Greece where I visited family and friends and my physical problems healed and recovered faster than I had ever thought they would!!! With the help of the angels life feels and is so blessed!!
